For over twenty years, Jay has been honored by Accounting Today as the longest active member of their “Top 100 Most Influential People in the Accounting Profession.” An internationally known management consultant, Jay is recognized for his work in strategic planning and growth management with professional services firms and privately owned businesses.
He is a frequent speaker at international conferences on topics such as executive leadership, strategic thinking and communications skills building. He is a noted author having published numerous articles on leadership and management. Jay is the author of The Random House Handbook of Business Terms as well as The Random House Dictionary of Business Terms. He co-authored the books, How to Manage An Accounting Practice From Chaos to Order and most recently, Stratagem.
Jay’s areas of expertise include strategic thinking and planning, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He has also become a leading expert on executive coaching. During his career he has consulted professional services firms including law firms, CPA firms, General Motors, RCA Corporation and The White House.
